Once upon a time.... |
| |
Under communist rule, Budapest was the recipient of many unwanted gifts
of statues to memorilize communist leaders and "heroes". Once free,
the statues were carted off and placed in a field outside of town. Recently
a park was created to exhibit these statues. Perhaps so that the bad old
days would not be forgotten. “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” – George Santayana |
